European mobile phone developer, Kazam, has announced the integration of rugged phone brand ToughShield into its business.

The Kazam product range now spans low cost feature phones, to high end smartphones, as well as offering rugged phones and tablets under the ToughShield brand. The merge has also seen ‘Kazam for business' established as a new division of Kazam, that focuses on the enterprise sector of the industry.

Michael Coombes, CEO, Kazam said: 'This is a significant step for Kazam, enabling us to broaden our product portfolio, delivering even more choice to consumers and businesses. ToughShield has solid experience and credibility in rugged product, specifically within the enterprise market. This integration will allow us to take advantage of that.'
