Made in Mind integrates  Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 in smartphone and tablet chargers
Mobile World Congress: Made in Mind, a UK product design company, has announced the company will bring Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology to its line up of award winning smartphone and tablet chargers.

As the world’s thinnest smartphone and tablet charger, The Mu will feature Qualcomm Technologies’ Quick Charge 2.0 to increase the speed of charging across a range of mobile devices by up to 75%. Quick Charge 2.0 is designed to deliver up to 60 watts, not only improving charge times for smartphones and tablets, but adding support for larger mobile computing devices like slim notebooks.

Made in Mind will work with Qualcomm to integrate Quick Charge 2.0  into its chargers, including the current UK folding three-pin Mu Tablet, as well as the full range of the new international Mu System. Quick Charge 2.0 technology is both backward and forward compatible with USB charging technology.

Matthew Judkins, CEO of Made in Mind, commented on the deal: “Qualcomm Technologies has been one of the foremost innovators of mobile technology for many years. To collaborate with a company with such heritage and prestige in the mobile industry is a game changing development for Made in Mind. Our intention was to positively disrupt the world of mobile device charging; now with our Global Mu System coming on stream and the incorporation of Quick Charge 2.0, we are taking massive strides in achieving that aim!”
The Mu System is compatible with all makes and models of smartphone, tablets, MP3 players and most all USB-charged devices and will be launched in third quarter 2015.

The Mu System consists of two parts: a power block with USB connector and separate plug attachments that are suitable for every socket type worldwide.
