Cooperation is start of TeliaSonera's initiative involving a new marketplace for SMEs in Nordic and Baltic regions
TeliaSonera is developing a marketplace of the best and most popular applications based the user need for both mobile and effective working methods.
According to Telcordia, applications in the cloud constitute a good option for companies that want to avoid investing in complex solutions. The operator said eight out of ten companies also believe they will pay for cloud applications in 2015, compared to every third company today.
Telcrdia stated that for this reason, this means customers obtain one location from which to manage purchases and payments, as well as a better overview of its services , which improves the level of security and cost control.
'There is a great deal of potential. At the same time, cloud applications pose a challenge to small and medium-sized businesses. Today, it is primarily companies with know how and understanding of how the technology works that feel secure enough to buy applications. By collaborating with AppDirect, we are making it simpler for our customers to select and benefit from the advantages afforded by cloud applications,' said Thomas Johansson, head of B2B products within broadband sat TeliaSonera.
Over the course of the year, TeliaSonera will conduct a pilot test where selected customers will have the opportunity to take part and impact customer experience and content. The pilot will be run in the Swedish market.
