Company attacks $72 billion BYOD market with CAFÉ Platform and myIdentities with the first split billing capability for voice and data

Movius Interactive Corporation, a provider of mobile applications that enable personalised communications, is set to launch a way to provide split billing for voice and data. At next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Movius  will unveil key developments in BYOD roll outs for both Android and Apple iOS devices that will address the major enterprise challenges of employee reimbursements and work to personal separation, without compromising convenience, productivity and security.

The Movius myIdentities solution, enabled by the Movius CAFÉ platform, offers a unique means for operators to increase their ARPU while capitalising on the market opportunity empowering customer communications separation on one mobile device.

Movius will also be showcasing its solution in the Samsung tent to demonstrate its capability of being able to provide multiple phone lines on one device (SIM independent) and split billing for voice and data between the personal and enterprise accounts, enabling enterprises to save money by only paying for work related consumption.

“We are very excited to be demonstrating our myIdentities solution in Barcelona, where the world’s leading network operators will be gathered, all looking for a way to engage innovatively with the enterprise space. This year we are pleased to be part of the Samsung tent, this is just one example of the great relationships we are building with tier one operators and vendors globally,” said Movius CEO, Dominic Gomez. “A fully integrated BYOD solution is enormous and will be one of the major talking points at Mobile World Congress as global operators search for the perfect solution,” he continued.

The Movius BYOD development is available through its unique client/server-based solution called myIDs Secure, which empowers users with privacy, control and mobility, whilst opening up new revenue streams for operators, who are now able to charge customers a premium for additional lines on their mobile phone. The myIDs Consumer solution provides an anonymous and/or temporary number for consumers wanting an additional line for social networking, roaming, dating services or classifieds, while the myIDs Business solution helps enterprises by expanding all aspects of their desk phones (voice, voicemail, call log, contact list,) to their mobile devices.

myIdentities is enabled and is part of the Movius Communications Applications Framework Engine, or CAFÉ, a platform that bridges the telecommunications world with the social, local and mobile world and allows operators to offer services that rival and take advantage of the over the top (OTT) revolution.

Added Amit Modi, vice president, VP and GM myIdentities Business: “Building on our market experience, Movius has developed a truly unique portfolio to deliver completely differentiated products for managing personal and enterprise usage on mobile devices for voice, messaging and data. This development is what operators have been looking for; the breakthrough that will allow them to address a highly receptive business market with a fully comprehensive and easily adoptable BYOD solution across an unmatched range of devices.”
