UK customers can go small or large on the UK's forst 4G network with Apple

EE has announced it is offering iPad mini in the UK from today. EE will offer iPad mini and iPad with Retina display with a range of data plans that will allow customers to connect to the UK's first 4G mobile network, with speeds typically five times faster than 3G. Orange and T-Mobile will also offer these new iPads on fast HSPA+ and DC-HSPA networks.

'We're delighted to be launching the 4G iPad mini and iPad with Retina display,' said Pippa Dunn, chief marketing officer, EE. 'To celebrate the launch on the UK's only 4G network we will be offering customers the chance to try 4G free for a month on our EE £15.99 30 day SIM Only Plan, which comes with 5GB of data and Wi-Fi.'

The new iPads will also be available on EE, Orange and T-Mobile on 24 month plans starting from £21 a month.

iPad mini, a completely new iPad design that is 23% thinner and 53% lighter than the third generation iPad, features a 7.9 inch Multi-Touch display, FaceTime HD and 5 megapixel iSight cameras, ultrafast wireless performance, and 10 hours of battery life.

iPad with Retina display features a 9.7 inch Retina display, new Apple-designed A6X chip, FaceTime HD camera and ultra fast wireless performance. Both iPad mini and iPad with Retina display come with iOS 6.
