FIME expands mobile and NFC distribution in China

Enhanced partnership offers EMV, NFC and payment terminal consultancy and test tools to Chinese device and chip manufacturers

Advanced secure chip testing provider, FIME, has expanded its activity in China through distribution partner Flash Technology. The partnership, which has seen Flash Technology support local manufacturers with FIME's automated RF test bench since 2012, will now deliver additional mobile and near field communication (NFC) consulting services and testing products to Chinese mobile handset, secure chip, payment terminal and secure element manufacturers.

Arnaud Peninon, director of FIME Asia, commented: 'This partnership enables us to be in closer proximity to our customers in China, with a wider product portfolio to validate NFC-capable devices and contact and contactless terminals. Chinese manufacturers can take advantage of FIME's international expertise and NFC Forum qualified test tools, combined with the regional knowledge and presence of Flash Technology to deliver support in local languages.'
