Pair partner to bring Masabi technology to Keolis transport systems in France
Masabi, provider of transport mobile ticketing, and Keolis, a public transport operator, today announced that they will be partnering to offer mobile ticketing solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement Keolis will initially incorporate Masabi’s 2D barcode mobile ticketing technology into a fully integrated mobile application to simplify the daily lives of passengers as part of Keolis’ PlanBookTicket strategic initiative for the French market. The two companies will also co-operate in other markets globally.
Masabi’s platform, JustRide, is a cloud-based end to end mobile ticketing and fare collection system. It comprises of services for ticket purchase, display and inspection together with back end infrastructure for secure payments, ticket management, customer service, reporting and real time analytics.
The Keolis PlanBookTicket is the first public transport application offering passengers a fully digital, totally connected transit solution. In a single application PlanBookTicket includes the three essential steps passengers require for their everyday journey: plan their itinerary, book their ticket and validate it. The application will be available as a white label version, on all Apple and Android smartphones using either NFC or 2D barcodes.
