SiriKit adopted by Mahindra Comviva for voice control

Mahindra Comviva, provider of mobility solutions, has announced that the latest version of mobiquity Wallet, the company’s digital wallet platform for financial institutions, uses key features of iOS 10, the biggest release ever of Apple’s operating system.

mobiquity Wallet has adopted SiriKit, the latest offering from Apple that allows apps to extend Siri, Apple’s voice-controlled virtual assistant.

Users of mobiquity Wallet can now send and request payments from others using a simple voice command. This integration makes simple, seamless and faster digital payments a reality.

Moreover, mobiquity Wallet now comes with 3D Touch integration, a technology that was first introduced in iPhone 6S. With 3D Touch, a wallet user can access the most frequently used features such as transaction history, current balance without opening the wallet application.

“By integrating Siri voice recognition and 3D Touch features into mobiquity Wallet, Mahindra Comviva is leading the charge in innovation by providing a digital payments experience centred around innovation in technology,” said Srinivas Nidugondi, SVP and head, mobile financial solutions, Mahindra Comviva. “With this integration, we provide the consumer with more personalisation and control which paves the way for an enhanced user experience, and leads to increase in mobile wallet usage,” he said.

mobiquity Wallet is a white label mobile wallet solution that represents an evolution in mobile commerce by integrating payments, loyalty, and mobile marketing. It uses NFC – HCE, QR code, biometrics and BLE. HCE simplifies the NFC payment ecosystem and reduces operational costs involved in launching NFC payments. mobiquity Wallet also provides a patent-pending hybrid HCE offering, which facilitates a higher level of security for mobile payment transactions.
