Gives customers the chance to win a track day with Olympian cyclist Victoria Pendleton
Samsung, Worldwide Olympic Partner in the wireless communications equipment category, is offering customers a London 2012 Olympic Games experience that will see them get unprecedented access to one of the UK's top athletes, World and Olympic champion cyclist, Victoria Pendleton, through an Olympic inspired app.
The Victoria Pendleton Road to Victory app will be available to Three customers through Samsung devices and will feature exclusive content, images, news and mobile wallpapers from Team Samsung ambassador, Pendleton. Giving a unique insight into the life of an athlete at the top of their profession, the app charts the highs and the lows of her preparation ahead of this summer's London 2012 Olympic Games.
Customers of Three who download the app will be able to enter a competition to win a track day with Pendleton, witnessing firsthand the training and preparation undertaken by professional athletes. Ten lucky winners plus their guests will spend the day with Pendleton getting tips to improve their own cycling and will also be able to ask her questions about her Olympic experiences to date.
Available to Three customers from 23 July with the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy phone, the app, developed by Candyspace, will also feature Pendleton's eight week training regime as her preparations for the London Games gather pace.
