IsatHub and Iridium Go now available for rental
Global Telesat Communications (GTC), specialist in satellite communications solutions, has expanded its rental scheme to include the latest satellite Wi-Fi devices for those looking to solve their short term communications requirements at minimum cost.
The Satellite Wi-Fi offering includes the Iridium GO! and GTC will also be the first in the UK to offer the Inmarsat IsatHub for rental. Combined with the current range of satellite phones and trackers offered for rental it ensures GTC has a variety of products available that will cover all parts of the globe and do so economically at agreed and fixed costs.
Recent developments in technology have resulted in people expecting to stay connected wherever they go and the Iridium GO! and IsatHub are the first in a new range of products offering flexibility to those who need voice and data communications in remote locations. These BYOD gadgets allow users to pair their existing smartphone or tablet with the satellite device and make calls, send emails and browse the internet without requiring a GSM signal. The user simply downloads the specialist Iridium and Inmarsat Apps onto their own device before the trip and then connects via Wi-Fi to the Iridium GO! or IsatHub.
