Sony has been named as the UK's V Festival mobile partner.
Continuing its summer line up of unique performances and interviews featuring artists such as Rita Ora, Tom Odell and Miles Kane, Sony's partnership will include an Xperia Access acoustic stage created within the VIP heart of V Festival, the Louder Lounge.
The stage will see top Sony artists including Paloma Faith, Labrinth, Laura Mvula, AME and Lissie perform unique, stripped down versions of their songs, as well as give insightful interviews, within the celebrity-filled, exclusive area. All content will be exclusively streamed on the Xperia Access Facebook page.
Continuing the theme of one of a kind experiences throughout the two day festival, Xperia-branded V Festival Angels will roam the site, taking pictures of the best festival goers on Xperia Z, and challenging guests to quizzes and tests to win Xperia prizes and even tickets to the exclusive OurGarden venue. A lucky chosen few will be whisked away to the Louder Lounge to see one of the artists perform their set.
Xperia Access will also be taking to Virgin Media's Our House, where guests will be treated to sets from the likes of chart-toppers Rudimental and DJ Fresh, before watching an explosion of neon colour kick the party off into the night.
In addition, the Xperia Angels will be on hand to direct people running low on smartphone battery to the Xperia-sponsored Recharge Towers, so that their festival experience can be captured at every moment.
